Day off of Babysitting! Yah!

Today I only have my two year old!We are watching a double feature offered by our cable company of The Lorax and Despicable Me. She likes them both but as soon as the singing or action scenes are done she is too! LOL, it's cute!

My little girl is having a bad day though. She doesn't feel too good. She is whiney and cuddly and doesn't want me to be too far away, which I am okay with! I love my cuddle bug!

I was able to do some crafting yesteday and made four boxes (only three pictures though sorry! The girls had my camera and hid it from last night) and a dual pocket holder! They are pretty cute! I used Authentique's 'Essentials Collections. It is a  6 x 6 pack of 24 designs. I think it is super cute and versitale! I have used quite a few of the pages already. I also used The Paper Studios Textured CS Brights collection.

I am going to go to Dollar Tree and Hobby Lobby today to get some more supplies as well. I need some 4x6 acrylic frames for some post-it note stands. I am also in the need of some more double sided patterned paper like the Autheinque's just bigger.

I also used silk flowers on all of them. On the yellow one I used Stampin' Up markers and colored them. I used the yellow silk flowers from HL and Pumpkin Pie and So Saffron markers!

Babies, Shoes, and a little Halloween

Yesterday was interesting for sure! The girls fought over baby dolls and toys. Go figure? I'm used to it. There are only two baby dolls so the older girls had them most of the day. I'm still teaching Brie how to share. Everytime Roz (1 year old) kept playing with a toy she'd go over and snatch it away. Everytime I would say "Brie, she doesn't have any toys to play with so you need to share with her." It would work for a little bit but then Roz would get bored and grab another toy and it would happen all over again.

Also, Roz has a shoe obession! She won't wear her own shoes though. No! She will find what ever shoes are lying around and put them on her feet and walk around with them. They can be my slippers, flip flops, or tennis shoes or my husbands dress shoes or boots or even my daughters jelly sandals! I swear, those sandals are the hit for all three girls! If I don't hide them one of them is wearing them.

I like the fact that all like to wear shoes (most of the time) but I don't like how shoes end up disappearing because of it. I can look around for either my shoes or Chey (3 years old) or Brie's shoe for a good 10 minutes before I find a pair!

I was able to do some crafting yesterday. My mother in law is having a garage sale at the end of the month and I asked if we could put some stuff out as well and she said yes. Most of my stamps are from Hobby Lobby. It is the only craft store in town, I like going there but it seems to be a smaller store than others and there is not a lot to pick from. I have noticed that most of them are doing remodels and resets so more stuff is coming in so that excites me! The closest Michaels and Jo-Ann's is 3 hours away in Wichita so I take what I can get! Lol. I also shop Amazon a lot as well.

What a week!

Haven't had time to write very much this week. We have been busy with family stuff and babysitting! Lol, I'm glad I don't have more than 1 child of my own sometimes! Lol, trying to go to the store with a 3, 2, and 1 year old is very interesting!

So far with the potty training we were to the point where we only had 1 accident a day. She is doing an amazing job with the potty part but the number 2 part not so much. We are thinking it's because she is used to standing up and doing or it is still too new for her. She has gone number 2 in the potty at least once but that was at Grandpa and Grandma's house. I'm hoping soon she will go at home.

I was able to do a little crafting but not a lot. I was able to make a couple Post-It Note Stands and Mini Composition Notebooks, a pillow box owl, and a Post-It Note notebook with pen holder. I was really excited when I got my order from Amazon last week! I wouldn't have been able to make the pillow box owl with out!

I got the ideas for these from Kerry of  www.kerrypapercrafts.com and Dawn of www.dawnsstampingthoughts.net/ . These women are very talented and I am thankful for you both for showing us how to create these cute ideas for gifts!

Also thanks to Dawn for showing me how to make a sour cream container as well! I wasn't able to take a picture of it because the 1-year old I watch grabbed it and bite into it. lol.

What a day... (Not)

Today I had to call my babysitting in early for the day. I normally watch the girls for 8+ hours but today I couldn't. I have had a headache since Sunday and it wont go away. After my friend picked the girls up I slept on the couch near my daughter to try and get rid of it but it still lingers.

But on the plus side, yesterday Ambrielle and I decided that we would have a "nice fair share". We had small incident where she got upset with the youngest girl I watch and pushed her. I took Brie into another room to have her understand that it isn't nice pushing people. I sat her down and told her that she needed to be nice, fair, and also share. I had her repeat after me about 20 times , "Be nice, Be Fair, and Share." It's working so far!

We had a couple accidents yesterday and only one so far today! I'm so proud of my baby girl! She has been giving me false alarms all day as well but that's the important part, that she understands that she doesn't go potty or poop in her pants anymore. I'm okay with the false alarms, she is enjoying to go on the potty too! I couldn't be anymore proud of her!

Potty Training and more!

Thanks to my lovely In-Laws my daughter is slowly being potty trained! She spent the week with Grandpa David, Grandma Gail, and Aunt Sara last week. They did the amazing job of starting the potty training and I cannot say thank you enough for that! The little things family do for each other is incredible.

Since we picked her up from them yesterday after church we have had 5 success trips to the potty but two accidents. It happens though, so I know we will do better!

Today we are also watching my friend's two little girls so now I have a three, two and one year old under the same roof! This will be an interesting ride for sure!

I also have more things that I can craft on Thursday that I've been wanting to try for a while now. I'm excited and can't wait. If I can get the girls to all lay down for nap at the same time I might be able to do a little bit today.

I made 23 cards last week as well! I would have made 25 but ran out of the paper to make more. I did 5 designs and have to say that they are some my better designs so far!
